As part of an ongoing effort to prevent drug overdose deaths in Nevada, the Division of Public and Behavioral Health (DPBH) and the Nevada Overdose Data to Action (OD2A) program announce that the potentially life-saving medication Naloxone is available without a prescription statewide and free to all Nevadans. Provides training on the community overdose response plan Coordinates the medication disposal sites in the state Can mail at-home disposal methods like Deterra bags Nasal overdose reversal medication is available at all of the community access AED/CPR sites Members of the community can download the PulsePoint app to track 911 calls-for-service and the app has all of the AED locations where someone can access a Narcan kit.
