Originally named Stop Heroin Now, SHN was founded in 2013 by Linda Lenz. Her son Tony died earlier that year of an accidental heroin overdose. In coping with her own loss, Linda saw a need for supporting other parents who, like her, had lost a child to an overdose.

NARCAN Direct Program Agency - It is available at no cost to people who attend a free training session offered by the dozens of agencies participating in the NARCAN Direct Program.
